The tracking setup is where most attribution dies.
Our team has onboarded hundreds of law firms. The platform matters less than whether the plumbing underneath it was set up by someone who has seen it go wrong before.
Four things that have to be right.
Each of these is simple in theory and full of edge cases in practice. These are the ones we see most often.
Call tracking
Dynamic number insertion has to swap the number for every visitor without breaking the number your existing clients already have, without splitting your Google Business Profile listing, and without losing the campaign on a call that comes in three days after the click. Pools have to be sized to your traffic or two visitors share a number and the attribution is simply wrong.
CallTrackingMetrics, CallRail, answering services, LSA call leads.
Form tracking
Forms break attribution quietly. A form that posts to a vendor inbox, a thank-you page that fires a conversion on reload, a landing page builder that strips UTMs on redirect, a duplicate submission counted twice — each inflates the numbers in a direction nobody questions.
Gravity Forms, WordPress, Unbounce, Zapier, vendor landing pages.
Live chat tracking
Chat vendors hand over transcripts, not campaigns. The visitor who chatted at 11pm and called the next morning is one person, and if chat and phone are counted separately your cost per lead looks better than it is and your cost per case looks worse.
Ngage, Juvo Leads, Olark, and anything that will post a webhook.
Attribution and case outcomes
The hard part is not reading ad spend. It is writing the source onto the matter in your case system and reading the outcome back — which means mapping your statuses, not ours, so your intake team keeps working the way it already works.
Filevine, Clio, Lead Docket, SmartAdvocate, Litify.
How onboarding actually runs.
Setup is done by the team that will run your account, not handed to an implementation desk.
We map what you already run
Every vendor, every number, every form, every inbox. Most firms discover at least one lead source nobody was counting.
No change to your stack yet.
We connect and verify
Google Ads connects by sign-in. Case system, call tracking, chat and forms connect by API key, webhook or a snippet. Then we send test leads through every path and confirm each one lands correctly.
You watch the test leads arrive.
We map your statuses
Your intake stages, in your words, mapped to the outcomes ROIOn reads back. Nothing about how your team works has to change.
Then the reporting starts.
Bring the stack you already have.
We have almost certainly set it up before. If we have not, it connects over webhook or Zapier like everything else.
